ProSiebenSat.1 Accelerator becomes SevenAccelerator
Unterföhring, July 14, 2021. SevenAccelerator, SevenVentures and SevenGrowth, as part of the Commerce & Ventures segment of the ProSiebenSat.1 Group, will now have an even more dynamic and coherent appearance. In the future, the design will be more closely aligned with the look of the Seven.One Entertainment Group. In this way, the synergistic positioning of the digital group with its Entertainment, Dating and Commerce & Ventures segments will also be reflected in the design.
Effective immediately, SevenAccelerator will operate under a new name. Like SevenVentures, it will also have a new logo. The rebranding of the two units reflects the logic of the entire Commerce & Ventures segment, which is to support companies at different stages of maturity in their development: from seed financing to media-for-revenue and media-for-equity deals to minority and strategic majority investments.
In the course of this, the SevenAccelerator brand will replace the previous ProSiebenSat.1 Accelerator in the future, without any associated changes for the portfolio of the investment unit, which specializes in early-stage start-ups. As part of SevenVentures GmbH, the SevenAccelerator, like SevenVentures, which specializes in growth-stage startups, will get a new logo with a consistent icon as a stringent design element. With the new design, the digital group's investment unit is sharpening its brand profile and underscoring the fact that it successfully accompanies startups through various growth stages as a partner investor.
The value chain of the Commerce & Ventures segment thus becomes figurative: Via convertible loans of EUR 1.5 million to EUR 2.5 million gross media volume, the SevenAccelerator increases the growth and brand awareness of consumer-oriented start-ups in the early phase and uses the close synergies with SevenVentures for its portfolio companies, which already accompanies more mature growth companies via flexibly tailored media-for-revenue and media-for-equity investments.
In the future, the new investment vehicle SevenGrowth will also follow the logic of the brand presence, in which ProSiebenSat.1 uses media volume and cash to make strategic minority as well as majority investments in more established companies with proven business models.
